Sage Medical is looking for a VR GP, or those on a 19AB exemption, to come and join our fabulous team at our clinic in the heart of West Footscray. .

A little about who we are and what we’re offering:
Sage Medical opened mid-January 2024 in the heart of West Footscray. We are currently fully booked every day and would like to grow our GP team. We are offering $150.00 per hour guaranteed income for the first three months, and excellent remuneration after this period (65% of billings). The clinic is located at 571 Barkly St, West Footscray, with high exposure to the public and as a result we believe there to be great earning potential for our new GP’s. We are a mixed billing clinic, using Best Practice and Cubiko software.
We love to support our contractor GP’s in their special interests. You will be encouraged to use the full knowledge of your GP skills, and further skill development will be supported. We will offer flexibility in structuring your appointment sessions and have good systems for appointment bookings, financial consent, recalls and reminders and debt recovery, if needed.
As a GP contractor, your patients are your own, but we will always work together to cover each other when you wish to take time off. We are open to suggestions regarding software and equipment choices that will help to streamline the running of our clinic.
Our people at Sage Medical have an experienced leadership team, with a growth mindset within the practice. Our Practice Manager, Matt, is a co-owner and is therefore committed to the success of the clinic. There are 2 fantastic practice nurses who provide amazing support, and well-trained admin staff who are experienced in the front-of-house operations. We firmly believe that our staff are as important to our clinic as our patients are to our GP’s.
We hold regular practice social events, some involving kids and some kid free. We also have monthly practice GP meetings where all contractors and staff alike are encouraged to contribute. We wish to have a collegiate atmosphere amongst our GP’s at Sage Medical and are involved in research trials. We are currently teaching medical students as well as GP registrars.
Sage Medical has seven natural light-filled, well-stocked consulting rooms in a newly renovated, warm and spacious clinic. There is a large two bed treatment room as well as an onsite pathology collection room (Dorevitch). We have a secure staff car park, bike racks, a coffee machine (😊), and a staff shower onsite.
