Have you recently received a reminder from our clinic that you are due a repeat blood test, or perhaps an ultrasound test to monitor an ongoing condition?
Here at Sage Medical, we understand that you may have a busy life and might struggle to fit in a doctor’s appointment to arrange these follow up tests. We are also aware that for many people, the cost of a GP appointment can be a barrier to making a booking.
In order to help make this process easier and to reduce the out-of-pocket costs for our patients, we are now offering you the option of submitting a request to your regular GP for the referral for these tests directly via the REQUESTS 👆 tab on our website.
Our typical turnaround time to process these requests is less than 3 business days and your referral will be emailed directly to you, allowing you to go ahead and arrange your follow-up tests.
Your test results will then be reviewed by you GP within 2-3 working days of them receiving your results. Once they have been reviewed, your doctor will send you an SMS advising you whether you need to make an appointment to discuss the results.
This expansion of our current online request services will hopefully make life a little easier and help you keep on top of your healthcare needs 😊.
