At Sage Medical, our goal has always been to provide thoughtful, high-quality medical care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
From 1 August 2026, our consultation fees will increase to:
- Standard consultation – $100
- Long consultation – $175
We will also be updating our bulk-billing policy for children.
Routine consultations will continue to be bulk billed for children under 2 years of age. Children aged 2 years and over will be privately billed, with Medicare rebates available as usual.
This is our first fee increase in some time and reflects the rising costs of operating a modern medical practice, including staffing, medical equipment, technology, accreditation, insurance and other essential services that support patient care.
We understand that many families are experiencing cost-of-living pressures and these decisions are never made lightly. We carefully consider every change and continue to look for ways to minimise the impact on our patients.
These changes will allow us to continue providing longer appointments where needed, invest in our team and maintain the high standard of care our patients have come to expect.
