Immunisations

At Sage Medical we provide a full range of vaccination services, including travel vaccines as well as the Yellow Fever vaccine. 

In Victoria, the routine schedule of vaccines is provided free under the National  Immunisation Program as well as the Victorian funded immunisation program. For more information on the Victorian Immunisation schedule click here.

Immunisation is the most effective way of protecting your child against a range of serious illnesses. All vaccines used in Australia undergo stringent testing and ongoing monitoring. If fully immunised, your child is far less likely to catch a particular infection or if they do, their symptoms will tend to be much less severe.

We also provide annual flu vaccinations, COVID vaccinations and appropriate vaccines for at risk groups, such as shingles vaccination and  pneumococcal  vaccination for those over 65 and 70 years old, respectively. We provide flu, whooping cough and RSV vaccinations for all pregnant women, and we discuss MMR and chickenpox vaccinations in our pregnancy planning.

Some optional vaccines (such as the Bexsero/Meningococcal B vaccine, and travel vaccines) must be purchased prior to your appointment.
