Katherine’s upbringing took place in Hobart. In 2010, she earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Tasmania. Following this, she undertook her residency at Geelong Hospital and Western Health before settling in Melbourne. Having immersed herself in the Inner West community, Katherine considers herself fortunate to have cared for its members for several years and to now consider herself a local. Katherine is proud to be affiliated with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
In her practice of General Medicine, Katherine finds fulfillment in the diversity of cases and interactions with people. She harbours a particular interest in paediatric care but also finds fulfillment in various other areas, including Adolescent Health, Orthopaedics/Sports Medicine, Women’s Health, Mental Health, Preventative Health, and Travel Medicine. Katherine is accredited for Implanon insertion and proficient in conducting skin checks, minor procedures, and biopsies.
Unfortunately, Dr Katherine Rybak is not accepting new patients at this time. Once she resumes seeing new patients, we will be sure to let our patients know.
